"... it’s probably the most interesting of the batch."

"This Xbox 360 and PC add-on promises to be a little longer than the previous two downloadable packs..."

"Yes, Broken Steel will pick up at the end of Fallout 3, making use of players existing save games, presenting an ongoing narrative where the end credits once were."

GamePro

Game Pro
"Broken Steel is the third downloadable content package for Fallout 3, following The Pitt and Operation Anchorage, and is by far the largest."

"... it is clear that the direction it is taking the stock game is one that addresses some of the concerns held by its fans."
G4 G4
"Most importantly for those who wish this adventure would never end is the revelation that, unlike the main game on its own, the end of “Steel” doesn’t end the game; you can continue wandering around, doing side quests you might’ve missed, even after the story concludes."
1up 1Up
"... two things in particular stood out: you can order your companions to input the code, and Dogmeat can be reincarnated upon death.."

"In other words, this DLC pack is a final gift for loyal Fallout 3 fans wanting more of the game. And you are definitely going to get a lot more. ."
Kotaku Kotaku
"Broken Steel, the third downloadable episode for the PC and Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3, will raise the game's level cap to 30 and remove the games ending on May 5, Bethesda announced this week."

Gamespot Gamespot
"Based on what we saw, Rogue Warrior looks like it's set in the personality department."
Team Xbox

Team Xbox
"But the voice work of Rourke adds a fun dimension, and 16-player online multiplayer will be in the mix, too, so the final product could find a way to rise above the genre."

Eurogamer Eurogamer
"Between Rourke's gravelly interjections and some over-the-top shootouts, this one has character to spare, and, geopolitics aside, its real appeal is as a brutally cheerful ramble around the best late-night eighties TV movie you never saw."
Play Play
"The in-game engine is of Rebellion's creation, although what we've seen so far looks attractive if not exceptional."
